Delete your Grogoo account
This page is for users of the Grogoo app and website by Grogoo FZ-LLC.
How to request deletion
- Send an email from the address registered with Grogoo to privacy@grogoo.io with the subject "Delete my account".
- We confirm your identity by replying to that address.
- We complete the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
Once the app is available, you can also delete your account inside the app: Profile, Settings, Delete account.
If you only joined the waitlist, send the same email and we will remove your address.
Before deletion
Withdraw your balance and close your cards. An account with a balance, an active card or a pending transaction cannot be deleted until these are settled.
What we delete
Your profile, login credentials, device and push tokens, support history and waitlist entry.
What we keep
Identity verification records and transaction history are kept for at least five years after account closure, because anti-money-laundering law requires it. This data is locked, used only for legal and compliance purposes, and then deleted.
